Two Decades after his debut as detective Axel Foley in the Beverly Hills cop film series, Eddie Murphy is back in Beverly Hills and this time, things are personal!
This fourth film is centered around Foley who teams up with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend to unravel the controversy surrounding the threats to his daughter’s life. Diving headfirst, he brings his old pals John Taggart & Billy Rosewood on board to uncover the conspiracy and turn up the heat.

Jordan Gordon-Levitt
After successfully writing, directing and starring in his own drama Series, Mr Corman, Levitt returns three years later in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. Playing the role of Detective Bobby Abbott, a detective in the Beverly Hills police department, he teams up with Foley, his ex’s father, to find the people after Jane’s life.
Taylour Paige
May 2022 saw Taylor Paige drift a little from her on-screen career. She hopped on a song with Kendrick Lamar We Cry Together which earned her a Grammy nomination. Returning after her huge singing success, she takes on the role of Jane Saunders who doubles as a Beverly Hills criminal defense attorney & Axel’s estranged daughter whose life is being threatened. Her ex and father team up with other characters to figure out who has been on her trail.
John Ashton
Over thirty five years after starring in Beverly Hills II, Ashton returns as Sergeant John Taggart. He had retired from the force as Billy Rosewood’s partner. However, he returns in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F in a bid to help Axel on his mission.
Paul Reiser
Paul Reiser, legend from The Boys also returns to the movie as Detective Jeffery Friedman after 35 Years away. Returning as Axel’s partner in the Detroit police department, He is set to be a friend in need to Axel.
Judge Reinhold & Bronson Pinchot
Returning actors, Judge Reinhold & Bronson Pinchot who have been in the movie since its first debut in 1987 are reprising their roles Billy Rosewood & as Serge respectively.
Kevin Bacon
Patriots Day’s Kevin Bacon debuts on the Beverly Hills Cop series as Captain Grant, a police captain in the Beverly Hills police department.
Mark Molloy
Due to more pressing commitments, Moroccan directors, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah pulled out from directing Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. This turned out to be quite the opportunity for Mark Molloy who was announced as the director of the movie. This would mark his debut as a feature film director.
